Meet the Team

 With over 21 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families, I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Psychotherapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW),  who is deeply invested in helping people feel understood while providing practical, evidence-based support tailored to their unique needs. My areas of expertise include children's mental health, crisis intervention, parenting support, trauma assessment and treatment, clinical supervision, consultation, and professional training.

 I have completed specialized certification in Geraldine Crisci's Trauma Assessment and Treatment Model, an evidence-informed approach that integrates attachment, developmental trauma, neurobiology, and comprehensive trauma assessment to guide individualized, trauma-informed treatment planning.  At the heart of my practice is the belief that meaningful change begins with sincere validation. When people feel truly seen, heard, and understood, they are better able to discover their strengths, build resilience, and move forward with hope. 

I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Psychotherapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and over 23 years of experience supporting children, youth, individuals, and families. I began my career as a Child and Youth Worker and have provided brief and long-term support in a variety of settings in both English and French.  My areas of practice include child and adult mental health, anxiety and depression, trauma assessment and treatment, emotional regulation, behavioural concerns, family support, crisis intervention, relationship challenges, parenting support, at-risk youth, and the impact of childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect across the lifespan.  

Committed to lifelong learning, I continue to expand my clinical knowledge through specialized training in evidence-based and evidence-informed practices. I use a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, strengths-based, and client-centred approach, working collaboratively with clients to develop individualized support that reflects their unique experiences, strengths, and goals.  I provide a compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. 

 My professional journey began with Child and Youth studies at Collège Boréal, followed by 10 years of hands-on experience in the field. I went on to pursue my university studies in health with a focus on child and youth mental health. With 25 years of experience in behavioural services, I have dedicated my career to supporting children, youth, and families in navigating behavioural challenges and finding meaningful, practical strategies that promote positive outcomes.

With my knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), I use evidence-based strategies to understand the “why” behind behaviour and recommend appropriate strategies tailored to each family, that reflect their unique strengths, needs, and everyday realities. My goal is to work alongside families, building their understanding and confidence while providing practical tools that foster meaningful and lasting change.
